Overview
Port Macquarie Panthers are seeking a Trivia Host with personality plus to entertain, engage, and create unforgettable quiz nights. Do you love being the centre of attention, making people laugh, and testing their knowledge?
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Trivia Host to take the next step in their career with Panthers. As the face of our trivia events, you’ll keep the energy high, the crowd buzzing, and the competition fierce (but friendly). If you thrive on the spotlight and have the charisma to hold a room, we want you on our team.
Main duties and responsibilities
Main Duties and Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- Hosting weekly trivia nights with confidence and flair
- Welcoming players and setting the vibe for the night
- Presenting questions clearly and keeping the game on track
- Adding humour, banter, and suspense to keep players hooked
- Managing scoring, rounds, and keeping it fair for all teams
- Engaging with a diverse crowd and building rapport
- Ensuring excellent customer service to our members and guests at all times
- Any other operational duties as required by management
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have;
- Strong stage presence and communication skills
- A quick wit and great sense of humour
- Confidence with microphones and tech (training provided)
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- A love of trivia (or at least curiosity and enthusiasm)
- Strong problem solving skills
You will excel in a multi-skilled team environment and enjoy providing magnificent customer service. You are required to be flexible and reliable as you will need to be available 24/7 to work as required including nights, weekends and public holidays.
