What you'll do

- Facilitate safe, child‑focused contact visits and transfers between children and their parent or carer.

- Support positive engagement by modelling appropriate parenting behaviours and initiating play‑based interactions.

- Provide consistent supervision during visits and respond to conflict in line with service policies.

- Assist with administrative tasks and offer support to senior staff and colleagues during supervised contact or changeovers.

- Participate in team meetings, training, and ensure adherence to service procedures and professional standards.

The details

- Casual role based in Gosford.

- Available to work Saturday's.

- Approx $39-40 per hour + 30% casual loading + 12% super, 17.5% leave loading and tax‑free salary packaging up to $15,900.

What you'll bring

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in human services (e.g. social work, psychology) are desirable.

- Strong understanding of child and youth development, including age‑appropriate activities and emotional needs.

- Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours.

- Awareness of cultural issues and the impact of family conflict, with skills in conflict resolution.
