The roster is a 7:7 working 12 hour days (7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights).

About the Role

This is a vital role in maintaining and installing electrical infrastructure across our underground operations, paste plant, and associated facilities. This is a hands on position focused on ensuring the reliability and safety of critical equipment while supporting production targets.

Role Schedule

Working on a 7/7 roster (days and nights) with 12 hour shifts, you’ll be exposed to a wide range of electrical tasks - from low-voltage networking to high-voltage switching and troubleshooting mobile equipment. You’ll also support periodic shutdowns as part of the maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform day to day electrical maintenance and installations in line with procedures.

- Carry out scheduled inspections and repairs to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with Australian standards.

- Troubleshoot electrical faults and respond promptly to new work requests.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all work completed.

- Actively participate in site safety systems, hazard identification, and incident reporting.

- Communicate effectively across shifts and liaise with supervisors on progress.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

About You

You are a qualified Electrician with a WA Electrical Worker’s License and Certificate III in Electrotechnology, committed to working safely and delivering high standards of workmanship. Ideally, you bring experience in underground mining environments, but we welcome candidates from related industries who are eager to learn and adapt.

Key attributes

- Current LVR & CPR certification (mandatory) and Working at Heights competency.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work across varied electrical systems.

- A proactive approach to safety and teamwork, with clear communication skills.

- Flexibility to work on a 7/7 roster and willingness to relocate or FIFO.

- High Voltage switching experience (or willingness to obtain).

- Familiarity with mining systems and Pronto (training provided).

- Additional tickets such as EWP or Confined Space.
