Your Role As an Electrical & Instrument Engineer, you will: - Design and specify instruments for pressure, flow, level, and temperature measurement, including datasheets and loop diagrams. - Specify and design on/off and control valves, including valve sizing and actuator selection. - Select control system hardware, design system architecture, and develop functional specifications. - Design fire and gas detection systems and contribute to LOPA, HAZOP, and CHAZOP assessments. - Perform hazardous area classification and relevant calculations (Ex ‘i’, ‘e’). - Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities. What we’re looking for - Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia). - Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status (or substantial progress towards obtaining it). - Strong technical expertise in Instrument & Control Engineering principles and practices. - Proficiency in industry-standard software for detailed design tasks. - Solid knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to Instrument & Control Engineering.
