About the role

As an Inventory/Pallet Controller, you will be responsible for the efficient organization of our dry pack room and off-site warehouse unit. Your primary duties will include booking out non-produce stock from the dry pack to the factory floor, controlling the internal and external movements of CHEP equipment, and managing associated costs. You will also be responsible for producing regular invoice and pallet reconciliation reports.

A day in the life

- Organize and manage the dry pack room and off-site warehouse unit.
- Book out non-produce stock from the dry pack to the factory floor.
- Control the internal and external movements of CHEP equipment.
- Monitor and manage associated costs related to inventory and pallet control.
- Produce and distribute regular invoice and pallet reconciliation reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Implement best practices for inventory control and pallet management.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory and pallet counts.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and pallet movements.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

- High school certificate or equivalent;
- Proven experience in inventory control, pallet management, or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software such as MyChep website, 2IC by Microsoft Access, QAD & MFG highly regarded and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of CHEP pallet systems is a plus.
