We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our Finance Division and help us take our data and reporting capabilities to the next level.

The Role

As a Data Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting infrastructure that keep our business moving. You’ll ensure the accurate and timely flow of data across multiple systems, supporting analytics, business intelligence, and commercial decision-making.

This role is hands-on and collaborative, you’ll work closely with Business Analysts, BI Developers, and stakeholders across Finance, Operations, HR, and IT to deliver data solutions that are reliable, efficient, and secure.

What You’ll Do

- Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating data from multiple systems.
- Maintain and enhance data models to support accurate reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with the Reporting Team to deploy dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Implement processes that improve data quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve BAU support requests and JIRA tickets.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline data processes and reporting workflows.
- Some Power BI report enhancements and development work based on technical requirements documents.

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, BI Developer, or in a similar role.
- Strong SQL skills and database management expertise.
- Experience with data warehouse platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Proficiency in a programming language (Python preferred).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with data governance and security frameworks.
- Exposure to financial reporting or working in a finance environment (desirable).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-driven mindset.
