Job Description

We are currently seeking a Debrief Clerk to join our day shift from 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role responsible for managing the debriefing of deliveries, verifying contents and documentation accuracy.

Duties required however are not limited to the following:

- Managing the debriefing of deliveries

- Verifying documentation

- Scanning, coding and label printing

- Ensuring accurate POD are issued and returned

- Supporting the warehouse team with administrative tasks

- Communicating with the Warehouse and other departments to ensure any dispatch matters are dealt with and managed as required in a timely manner.

- Check incoming goods to ensure correct items and quantities have been received

- Reporting of damaged freight and shortages

- Document and record the contents of all shipments incoming and outgoing

- Unpack, code and allocate goods to the correct storage areas

- Maintain records of stock levels and movements

- Ensure all shipments meet relevant customer requirements and legislative regulations

- High attention to detail

- Ability to work under timeline pressures

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role of data entry / freight checking

- Warehouse environment experience

- Certificate in Warehousing & Logistics is beneficial however not essential

- LF Forklift license is advantageous

- Experience using SAP

- Experience in freight scanning

This is a diverse role offering a variety of administrative and processing tasks within the warehouse, suitable for a team player who is thorough and enjoys learning all facets of our operation. In return, we offer a very competitive salary of $34.31 per hour and a great working environment in our new warehouse facility.
