The Role

As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will work closely with both the sales and technical teams to design and deliver custom payment and loyalty solutions for Hello Clever's merchants. You will become an expert in all aspects of Hello Clever's technology, helping businesses understand how our solutions integrate with their existing systems. This role is ideal for someone with technical knowledge and a sales-driven mindset, who enjoys problem-solving and working with customers to create compelling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design: Work with sales and technical teams to define and present tailored payment and loyalty solutions to potential merchants.
2. Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Hello Clever's technology, APIs, and integrations to support customer onboarding.
3. Customer Consultation: Engage directly with merchants to understand their business needs and recommend the best solutions.
4. Sales Support: Assist the sales team with product demonstrations, technical presentations, and pre-sales discussions.
5. Integration Guidance: Work with merchants' technical teams to ensure smooth integration of Hello Clever's payment and loyalty solutions.
6. Market & Product Feedback: Gather insights from merchants and relay feedback to the product team to enhance our offerings.
7. Collaboration: Act as a key link between sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure customer success.

About You

1. Experience: 3-5 years in a technical sales, solutions consulting, or pre-sales engineering role, preferably in fintech, payments, SaaS, or eCommerce.
2. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of APIs, payment gateways, POS systems, and eCommerce platforms.
3. Sales Mindset: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business solutions.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking to design and recommend solutions that meet customer needs.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Self-Starter: Proactive, able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
7. Bonus: Experience with real-time payments (PayTo, PayID), loyalty programs, or integrations with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and POS systems.
