The School

"Care, Inspire, Grow" is the motto of our school and is the common theme that we attempt to follow in all our dealings with our work, our environment and the relationships within our school. Harvey Primary School (PS) proudly offers all its staff and students a safe, inspiring and creative learning environment which provides unique opportunities. Each and every child is encouraged to realise their full potential, academically, socially and emotionally.

Harvey PS sits in the centre of the town and has a long and rich history, dating back to 1899. The town is located in the South West of Western Australia, 140 kilometres south of Perth. It is near a coastline and known for dairy and cattle industries, oranges, and as part of the Geographe Wine Region, award winning wineries.

They should demonstrate the ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community and have capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum. Applicants who are innovative, possess high quality teaching skills and knowledge, and are committed to ongoing professional growth and collaboration are highly valued.
