Overview
We are seeking to establish a pool of K-6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)

Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. Harvey PS sits in the centre of the town and has a long and rich history, dating back to 1899. The town is located in the South West of Western Australia, 140 kilometres south of Perth. Mobility and Equity
Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers may be available. Eligible permanent teachers with a substantive position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school may undertake a 3-year mobility appointment with a right of return to their substantive position. At the end of the mobility period, teachers may return to their substantive role or transfer permanently to Harvey Primary School. Note that south west teachers are not eligible to move to another south west school under this trial.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number before you start
