An exciting opportunityexists for a Mechanical Apprentice to join a small and supportive team at our category-leadingMushroom Growing Facility in Monarto, just 40 minutes up the freeway.

Reporting to the MaintenanceSupervisor and working under the guidance of our qualified maintenance team,you’ll assist in the maintenance and repair of site equipment across an industry-leading,state-of-the-art facility. Operations run year-round, 52 weeks of the year, 7days a week, supporting innovative vertical farming practices.

We’re looking for someonewho is curious about how machinery and automation systems work, enjoys hands-on,practical problem solving, and has a desire to learn how to maintain modernproduction equipment.

The successful candidatewill hold the following skills and attributes:

- Current C Class Driver’s Licence

- Demonstrated interest in mechanicalsystems, tools, and equipment (e.g. motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics)

- Curiosity about automated systems andtechnology used in modern production environments

- Basic understanding of tools

- Reliable and self-motivated

- Can-do attitude and strong work ethic

- A strong commitment to safe workpractices

- Competitive remuneration + penalties,on-call allowances & callout allowances

- Support to complete your apprenticeship& become fully qualified with experienced mentors
