We are seeking an Audiologist to join our experienced team in providing audiological, surgical, sales and business support for professional customers across Australia. The position is a 12-month Maternity Cover. About us Oticon Medical offers bone anchored hearing systems to meet the needs of those who face the hardest hearing challenges. We’re passionate about using our expertise and resources to open up the world of sound to as many people as possible. About the role Working closely with the Business Unit Manager for Oticon Medical ANZ, and the marketing, sales and clinical team, you will provide hearing care professionals with audiological and surgical support for our bone-anchored implantable hearing solutions. This is a hands-on role with a high level of involvement in the business and an opportunity to review and influence the service model in the market. The position will involve travel across Australia, occasional international travel, and flexible working hours with some work outside office hours. Key responsibilities - Providing expert audiological and surgical support to key account customers - Participating in industry conferences (fully subsidised) - Planning and delivering training presentations for conferences, workshops and webinars - Working with customers to grow and develop their businesses About you To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following skills and characteristics: - Excellent communication abilities - High level of organisational, planning and time management skills - Flexibility and ability to handle a significant degree of variability in the role - Capable of working independently as well as in a team - Ability to handle substantial degree of complexity in the role - Ability to prioritise tasks autonomously - Outstanding problem-solving ability - Ability to build rapport with people at all levels - Negotiation skills to achieve successful outcomes - Master of Audiology - Right to work in Australia - Current AU driver’s license Minimum experience Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in rehabilitation and/or sales within the hearing health or medical device industry.
