Reporting to the Store Manager, this role is responsible for driving end-to-end operational excellence by embedding streamlined and efficient processes both front and back of house, ensuring seamless stock flow, efficient operations and a positive customer experience.

Key Accountabilities

- Responsible for all back‑of‑house operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient support function for the store

- Lead the team to deliver store operational excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activities

- Partner with retail management and visual merchandising to drive a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance stockroom efficiency, refill processes, merchandise presentation and stock schedule recommendations

- Manage daily financial operations including end‑of‑day reconciliation, banking procedures and secure cash handling in accordance with company policy

- Provide training and development for the team on operational excellence, including key processes like the Magenta process, Connected Retail and stock availability

- Maintain a well‑organised and efficient stockroom, adhering to established standards, managing deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory management and ensuring the safety and security of the stockroom

- Identify and raise opportunities to further operational efficiency via process improvements (eg. Management of inventory, ISF and C&C), utilising available technology and sharing best practice. Pilot and support new initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste and improving back‑of‑house operations

- Implement and adhere to WHS policies and procedures, guidelines and safe work practices within your area of responsibility

Key Capabilities

- Demonstrated experience in a stockroom or warehouse management role, ideally within a retail environment

- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes

- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve operational goalsExcellent organisational and time management skills

- Strong understanding of WHS procedures and practices

- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for stock management and reporting
