Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our residential properties in top condition. Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing routine and emergency maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.)
- Troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues promptly and professionally
- Conducting property inspections and preventative maintenance
- Preparing units for move-in and ensuring timely unit turnover, including painting, patching, cleaning, and repairs
- Responding to work orders professionally
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Providing excellent customer service to residents and working collaboratively with the on-site team
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
- Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
- Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
- Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
- Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs

Qualifications

- Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
- Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
- Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
- 2+ years of maintenance experience
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems

Compensation

$23 hourly
