In this critical role, you will manage a dynamic team, drive safety, operational performance, and team development, while ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional departments. You’ll be the face of the site—building strong relationships with stakeholders, leading a safety-first culture, and taking ownership of a fast-paced regional operation.**What You Will Be Doing*** **Safety First:** Lead safety as a core value across the site, including the yard and operations. Champion COR compliance, load restraint standards, and MHE safety.* **Operational Leadership:** Achieve cost, KPI, and service metrics. Optimise service levels, productivity, and cost reductions.* **Team Management:** Lead a small, agile team with a focus on coaching, development, and performance. Foster a positive, learning-oriented culture.* **Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:** Handle calls from sales and customers. Build strong relatonships with internal stakeholders and 3PL transport providers.* **Strategic Collaboration:** Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including onsite manufacturing and sales to deliver best-possible operational and customer outcomes.* **Continuous Improvement:** Drive robust continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.* **Compliance & Reporting:** Manage reporting, capital projects, and infrastructure upgrades.
