Job Description
The Senior, HR Business Partner acts as a true partner to Epsilons APAC teams; responsible for overseeing an employee cohort based in Australia, Korea and Singapore, you will guide and support the leadership teams, motivate and grow our people through innovative people strategies, future facing workforce planning and initiatives.This role drives the people strategy aligned with Epsilons vision, purpose and values along with leading and supporting on a range of projects across Epsilon and Publicis Groupe. You will be responsible for leading a small HR team (1 x in Singapore and 1 x in Australia) who will support you and the business in achieving their goals.Responsibilities and duties:
- People Strategy
- Create and execute the people strategy for Epsilon APAC which could include retention, reward and recognition, performance management, L&D, and other people related initiatives to support business goals and objectives.
- Engage with key stakeholders to craft the people strategy (to support business strategy) with measurable outcomes.
- Lead, develop and roll out people strategies, practices and initiatives designed in partnership with leaders and teams.
- Leadership team coaching and guidance
- Partner closely with the APAC leadership team to shape future team org design, job design, workforce planning and key skills and capabilities.
- Coach and empower leaders on how to design, build and develop high performing teams, including goal-setting, performance management, people development and reward & recognition.
- Provide professional, business-focused, day to day people & culture services including, performance management, grievances, recruitment, annual salary reviews.
- Talent attraction
- Always look for ways to improve our organisational culture and EVP to attract, engage and retain high calibre employees.
- Build a shared understanding and ownership of our purpose, values, strategies, plans and culture whilst actively modelling these values and behaviours.
- Partner with the key stakeholders including Talent Acquisition team to recruit new team members and build a talent pipeline and the L&D team to drive the engagement and uptake of the Groupe offering.
- Performance management & development
- Manage Employee Relations matters and ensure compliance with company policy and Country employment laws (Singapore/Korea/Australia), delegating where possible to APAC HR Generalists.
- Drive performance management and succession planning activities.
- Coach & guide leaders to facilitate effective and consistent people management and build management capability.
- Partner with the L&D team to understand org capabilities and future requirements to craft a robust and meaningful L&D program
- Groupe people programs & contribution
- Lead and support the implementation of and create value from the relevant Groupe programs, policies or operational processes.
- Ensure data quality and control to allow for the generation of accurate and meaningful people stats, insights and trends.
- Support the Global Epsilon HR team to develop and implement the wider people strategy.
- Be involved in relevant Epsilon and Publicis Groupe HR people programs.
- Lead, coach, drive and inspire the HR team
- Be an ambassador for the organisations strategies and for the HR team.
- Any other duties as reasonably directed
Work Experience and skills:
- 8+ years of people & culture experience
- Experience across the whole employee lifecycle including recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, leadership development, remuneration and benefits, employee relations and off-boarding
- Experience managing and leading a small team of HR professionals who look to you for guidance, direction and strategy
- Experience supporting teams throughout South-East Asia (Singapore & Korea) preferred, but not essential
- Understanding of the complexities that multi-site and matrix style organisational set-up brings and how to overcome these challenges
- Excellent working knowledge of employment law, including the Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in workplace situations

- Comfortable with the flexibility, fluidity, change and often ambiguity with proven experience in org restructures and driving organisational change projects
- Ability to influence others, working effectively with all levels of an organisation across multiple time zones and/or regions
- Ability to work independently and autonomously to oversee all things people and culture for the APAC region
- You show up with professionalism, attention to detail, strong follow up, time management, clear communication and problem resolution skills
- Able to manage sensitive information with discretion, acting diplomatic and tactful when dealing with delicate situations.
