The Role
Our Events & Community Lead will report to the GM People & Culture and sit within the People Team.This role has ultimate responsibility for bringing our culture to life through Carlisle’s extensive and sophisticated events calendar, community partnerships, and supplier network activations.
You’ll design and deliver initiatives that connect, engage, and inspire, while supporting activations across the broader business.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end-to-end management of Carlisle’s internal events program—including Town Halls, conferences, award ceremonies, and social celebrations.These engagements are of substantial budgets so appreciation for cost management is essential.
- Create engaging agendas, themes, and experiences that reflect Carlisle’s culture and values.
- Manage event logistics, budgets, and supplier partnerships to deliver seamless, high-quality outcomes.
- Partner with Marketing to align internal storytelling and employer branding via LinkedIn and other event communication channels
- Manage all community engagement initiatives, charity partnerships, and corporate giving programs specifically with our primary charity Partner, LifeChanger.
- Contribute to the People & Culture engagement strategy and support activations across the business.
About You
- You’re an experienced internal events professional who knows how to design and deliver experiences that foster connection and reflect our thriving culture.
- You’ll bring strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- A confident communicator, you excel at stakeholder engagement, and building professional relationships across diverse groups.
- Creative and solutions-focused, you can translate high-level concepts into practical plans and deliver them with impact.
- With proven experience in budget management, supplier negotiation, AV/tech management and end to end event execution
- You thrive in collaborative environments and bring a flexible, professional approach to everything you do.
