Role : Senior Web Developer NextJS - Sitecore, CMS Exposure

Years of EXP : 5+ yrs. of experience

Short Description:

In the role of Senior Web Developer, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Skills required:

- Designing, developing, and implementing web applications using Next.js and related front-end technologies, such as React, HTML, Tailwind, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and product managers, to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and client needs
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, adhering to best practices and industry standards for Next.js development
- Optimizing web applications for maximum performance, compatibility, and responsiveness across various platforms and devices
- Performing thorough testing and debugging of Next.js applications to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and security
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and API specifications, to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Staying up to date with the latest advancements in Next.js, React, and front-end web development technologies, and identifying opportunities to enhance existing applications or create new ones
- Providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Additional Considerations

- Good to have hands-on experience using Sitecore / SitceoreXP.
- Knowledge of Content Management with strong technical hands-on knowledge of Sitecore including best practices and features.
- Knowledge of Sitecore JSS, Item Serialization, Sitecore CLI, connect, and Docker containers is a plus.
- Have a good understanding of Sitecore Pipelines, deployment topologies, Sitecore Application, and Storage Roles.
- Have a good understanding of Design Patterns.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills detail-orientated and able to manage/lead groups of people and tasks simultaneously.

Additional Skills:

- Good working knowledge in a relational database management system
- Business acumen and industry knowledge with a strong understanding of business processes and products
