About the Role

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is seeking an experienced Field Service Forklift Technician to cover Adelaide and surrounding suburbs.

We also have Workshop positions available in our state of the art workshop located in Gepps Cross.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out pre delivery of new and used units and also a range of maintenance services including planned maintenance, repairs and modifications to a wide range of Toyota Forklifts and other industrial equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components.
- Assist the Field Service team at customer sites when required.

Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:

- Current Manual Driver's licence (for Field Service)
- Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
- Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate would be an advantage.
- Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.

Can Demonstrate:

- Good diagnostic and repair skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
- Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry.
- Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
