Gardening Assistant - Hervey Bay / Maryborough

Right at Home Central Qld offers exceptional in-home care and support to a diverse range of clients across Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, and the Wide Bay Region.

We are looking for client-focused individuals with a genuine passion for the care industry. Our care professionals are expected to provide clients with the same level of care and respect they would give their own families. The roles we offer are varied and fulfilling, providing opportunities to gain new skills and experience in different environments.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Gardener/Lawnmower to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and respectful services. Our primary goal is to help clients maintain independence and live empowered lives at home.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

- A strong passion for empowering and caring for others with respect
- Compassion and respect for clients, including seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic
- Attention to detail, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High level of time management and organizational skills
- Experience in maintaining and repairing gardening equipment

Position entails the following, however not limited to:

- Lawn maintenance (Mow and whipper snipper)
- Weeding
- Basic handyman assistance
- Upkeep of Company vehicles
- Transport assistance when required

This position will involve servicing clients in the Hervey Bay and Maryborough region.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- National Police check
- Blue Card
- First Aid & CPR
- Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual care (Advantageous, however not essential)
