Location: Sydney & Melbourne

Salary Range: 108,571 - 119,893 (Annual Gross). Please note: the salary range is indicative and may be subject to suitable enhancements based on internal processes.

Role: Roles and Responsibilities are described below.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop BPM workflows using APPIAN
- Proficiency in Appian’s low-code development environment, including process modeling, data management, and user interface design
- Familiarity with Appian AI capabilities for automating tasks like document classification and extraction
- Hands-on experience with Appian Automation workflow
- Manage and migrate BPM BAW processes to APPIAN
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
- Strong customer service orientation with ability to respond to changing priorities in an agile environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage client stakeholders and Infosys internal teams
- Ability to suggest solution/technology alternatives and analyze bottlenecks in architectures
- Develop low-level design documents and review technical documents from Solution Architects
- Perform code reviews and follow iterative development processes
- Adhere to coding standards, development processes and best practices
- Participate in concept and planning stages; review design and write testable code following DevOps
- Deliver to timelines with collaboration across stakeholders
- 8 - 10 years’ overall IT experience in software design, development and support
- APPIAN and Business Automation Workflow tools; experience migrating BPM processes to APPIAN
- Knowledge of deployments to AWS/Azure Cloud
- Experience with CI/CD using tools like GitHub, SVN, Bamboo, Stash, JUnit, Test Automation, Docker, code review tools
- Understanding of platform architecture; strong debugging skills for client and server components
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver on timelines and work with diverse stakeholders

Skills / Competencies

- APPIAN and Business Automation Workflow tools; migrating BPM to APPIAN
- Spring framework, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, RESTful APIs, JSON, Web services
- Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure)
- CI/CD with GitHub, SVN, Bamboo, Stash, JUnit, Test Automation, Docker
- Platform architecture understanding; strong debugging skills
- Effective communication and collaboration
- Experience in Banking and Financial services domain is desirable but not essential

Essential

- Knowledge of Banking and Financial services domain (desirable but not essential)
- Team organization and management across geographically diverse teams
- Experience with Agile methodologies: Kanban, Sprint boards, ceremonies
- DevOps practices
- Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Test Automation tools (JUnit, Bamboo, Selenium, Mocha)

Preferred

- APPIAN
- REST API integration from BPM workflows
- Experience in Java and Business Automation Workflow
- Java security concepts
- Database proficiency

Additional Skills

- Excellent customer interfacing and communication
- Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills
