The Company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has support offices in the UK, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Bahamas.

The Simulated Trading Risk Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of risk management processes, overseeing withdrawal procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies specific to our simulated trading business. This role involves monitoring and analysing trading activities, implementing policies to mitigate financial risks, and optimizing operational efficiency. Additionally, the position requires team leadership, resource management, and the continuous improvement of risk assessment frameworks to align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Continuously monitor and analyse trading activities to detect potential risks and ensure adherence to risk policies and trading rules.
- Oversee risk operations and ensure that teams follow company policies and industry standards to maintain rigour relating to risk management processes.
- Manage trading rules for each simulated trading brand to ensure these remain competitive and are in line with company risk appetite
- Identify opportunities to enhance risk management processes, aligned with technological advancements and market trends.
- Ensure that the risk team has adequate resources, tools, and training to perform risk assessments efficiently.
- Ensure the team is aware of any rule updates and procedural changes, ensuring seamless compliance across all operations.
- Oversee withdrawal processing across regions, ensuring payouts are completed within the expected timeframe (2-day max).
- Track daily performance of team, investigate reported issues, and resolve internal and external withdrawal-related inquiries.
- Lead and support offshore teams responsible for risk checks, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Track daily payment rates, identify excessive payout exposure, and recommend and implement mitigation strategies to support payment improvements.
- Develop risk metrics to measure effectiveness, perform regular risk assessments, and provide outcome reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate risk management frameworks into broader company operations.
- Establish backup strategies for potential crises, system failures, or manual intervention needs in risk assessments.

- A relevant bachelor’s degree or at least five (5) years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in a risk management role within a financial services structure, preferably in a trading or brokerage environment, specifically in simulated/proprietary trading.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, and regulatory compliance frameworks specific to simulated trading.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and develop solutions to continuously improve risk management policies, procedures, and metrics in simulated trading.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams, including offshore or outsourced functions.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data, identify risk trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience managing withdrawal processes, transaction reviews, or payment systems in simulated trading.
- Proficiency in using risk and data analysis tools or platforms.
