Truck Team Member - Labourer / Customer Service / Truck Driver
Flexible Hours: 20-50 hrs/wk | Pay: $35 - $37/hr + Additional daily and weekly bonuses after training.
Open Car Licence is essential; LR truck licence is a bonus. You must be able to get to Northgate (4013) for shifts. Part Time & Casual positions available: 30 hrs+ per week with potential to increase.
About the role
Truck Team Members are the “face” of 1800-GOT-JUNK?. You will travel with another team member to different areas around the Gold Coast in our blue trucks, visiting customers’ homes or businesses to provide upfront pricing and remove unwanted items while delivering a positive customer experience. The role emphasizes safety and environmental responsibility through re-purposing, reusing, recycling, donating, and other waste-reducing options.
What you can expect
- You will follow safety training and wear the required uniform and safety equipment.
- You’ll remove, load, and sort customers’ items to find the best outcome and reduce waste.
- You’ll ensure the job order is completed as required.
- You’ll work efficiently with the team to stay on schedule.
- You’ll create an exceptional customer experience.
- You’ll estimate removals and provide upfront pricing.
- We pay award rates + super + bonuses. Previous experience isn’t required; customer service experience is an asset.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Good communication and a positive, problem-solving mindset; ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Available for part-time or casual work; remote starts around the city after certification to reduce commute times.
- Must be able to commute to Northgate (4013) for shifts.
