The Position:

This is an excellent opportunity to work as an O&G Registrar/Senior Registrar at one of Victoria's largest facilities. The role provides clinical support across all aspects of patient care and allows for training progression in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

It is suitable for doctors with SIMG training who require a period of Consultant supervision to obtain further qualifications in Australia.

The Facility:

The facility is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital, offering comprehensive healthcare services for both public and private patients. Services include maternity care, neonatology, paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health, and related diagnostic services.

As a leading teaching hospital and referral centre, it combines expertise from medical, nursing, midwifery, and allied health professionals to manage complex obstetric, neonatal, and gynaecological cases.

Eligibility:

1. General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligibility to obtain it
2. IMGs who have completed at least the AMC MCQ (Part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
3. IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada, or Ireland)
4. IMGs assessed by RANZCOG as partially or substantially comparable (interviewing candidates with RANZCOG are encouraged to express interest)
