At Mugari Our Mungari Gold Operations are a cornerstone asset located 28km west from central Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (WA) and 600km east of Perth. Mungari has a predominantly residential workforce, with many living in Kalgoorlie Boulder, giving many employees the luxury of coming home every day. This roster will be 7:7 and a 12 hour day. About the role Start your journey into the Auto Electrical trade with hands-on experience in a dynamic underground mining environment. As anApprentice Auto Electrician, you’ll be directly supported by a team of highly skilled and motivated tradespeople who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping you succeed. This is a practical, workshop-based role where you’ll learn by doing. You’ll gain valuable experience working on a wide range of heavy mining equipment, while developing your skills through both on-the-job training and your TAFE coursework. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll learn to: - Diagnose and repair electrical systems across various types of heavy machinery - Understand vehicle circuits, wiring, and electronic components - Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot electrical faults - Apply sound workmanship standards to ensure high-quality repairs - Maintain a clean and organised work environment, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency You’ll also be expected to: - Commit to maintaining health, safety, and security standards in your work and across the site - Identify potential risks and contribute to our Zero Harm Operations - Demonstrate behaviors that reflect Evolution Mining’s values and team culture - This is a fantastic opportunity to build a strong foundation in the auto electrical trade, while being part of a supportive team that values safety, learning, and continuous improvement. About you - Currently reside within the Kalgoorlie area - Previous Cert II in Engineering is advantageous or those wanting to upskill on their current trade. - Willingness to learn - Teamwork focused - Strong organisational and communication skills - Strong commitment to safety as a way of work - Current "C" Class Australian Drivers Licence At Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
