Are you passionate about sports and looking for a dynamic role where you can make a real impact? We are currently recruiting a PR Manager - Sport to work closely with our sports brands across Kayo Sports, Fox Sports and Foxtel, where you’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional content to millions of sports fans.

As our PR Manager - Sport, you’ll be responsible for crafting and executing strategic communication plans that elevate the profile of our brands, sports, talent, and initiatives.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders including athletes, ambassadors and partners to craft storytelling that drives earned media and social coverage that reaches and influences audiences.

Your success will be measured by the share of voice we secure in earned channels, our ability to connect with fans and our effectiveness in driving demand for the variety of sports we offer.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of sport, the media landscape including new and digital channels, and a passion for storytelling that shapes how we engage with audiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive earned media and social engagement with compelling, timely, and relevant storytelling.
- Leveraging your strong network of media, publishers, and content creators for public and media relations.
- Apply creative and solutions-focused thinking to innovate and achieve results in a dynamic industry.
- Utilise data to shape PR strategies and deliver high-impact, results-focused communications.
- Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with business and brand objectives.
- Lead end-to-end PR and communications campaigns, collaborating with marketing, creative, and digital teams.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to foster alignment, collaboration, and partnerships.
- Work closely with top-tier talent, agents, and managers to extract value and maximise opportunities, ensuring that both established and emerging talent contribute to enhancing brand narrative.

About your experience

- 7-10+ years in journalism, communications, PR, or media relations, with high-profile campaign and brand management experience.
- Expertise and passion for sports media, storytelling, and content creation across platforms.
- Strong project management skills, from ideation to execution, with effective stakeholder engagement.
- Highly organised, accountable, and creative, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in publicity, talent management, and handling high-profile events.
- A versatile skillset, adaptable across various brands and content pillars.
- Strategic thinking to align communications with broader business objectives.
- Collaborative leadership, fostering strong relationships at all levels.
- A natural inquisitiveness, constantly seeking new insights and innovative solutions.
- A results-driven approach, focused on influencing audiences and elevating brand visibility.
