Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Pricing Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will have you leading a team of Commercial Analysts, shaping and executing pricing strategies to retain and grow our customer base.
Operating within a highly dynamic commercial team, you will have a passion for collaboration, innovation and commercial decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and coaching a team of 15 team members (5-6 direct reports)
- Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with business goals
- Working closely with departments such as the Sales, Category and Implementation teams to optimise sales and margin and deliver outcomes
- Driving process efficiencies and innovation across tenders and management of existing customer base
- Ensuring compliance to contractual terms of agreements
- Conducting key pricing analysis, working effectively with business counterparts, to provide insight and execution
- Developing offers, including product selection, pricing and commercials
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership on pricing performance and opportunities
About You
You are a strategic thinker who has strong business acumen and an affinity for numbers. Curious and results oriented, you focus on the big picture and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
To be considered for the role, you will have:
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Experience in B2B or FMCG environments and pricing analytics
- Previous experience in product selection, pricing and product strategy
- Demonstrated experience with profit drivers and cost-based analysis
- High attention to detail
- Passion for problem solving
- Customer centricity and high level of adaptability
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Power BI
