About the Opportunity

Bankstown Hospital is currently seeking motivated and compassionate Assistants in Nursing (AIN) to join our casual pool. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care within a supportive and fast-paced clinical environment.

As an AIN, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary healthcare team, working closely with registered nurses to deliver hands‑on care. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and other daily activities that promote comfort and wellbeing.

For AIN Cert III – must have completed Certificate III in health services assistance, certificate and transcript to be uploaded.

For Undergrad AIN – must have completed and passed 2 semesters of university. Must have attended 2 clinical placements. University transcript and clinical placement summaries for each placement to be uploaded.

What You’ll be Doing

The Assistant In Nursing will assist the registered nurse and enrolled nurse with the planning, provision and documentation of patient care, working within the framework of the policies of SWSLHD, the Ministry of Health and the NSW legislative and statutory requirements.
