About the role

As a Retail Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying training opportunities, upskilling team members, and assisting with training plans to support their growth and development. You will lead by example, working closely with store teams, CSC, and Support Office. Through regular communication, coaching, and hands-on support, you will drive continuous improvement, ensuring teams are confident and equipped to succeed.

Responsibilities

- Conducting regular visits to Amart stores south of the river, including Cannington, Cockburn, Mandurah and Bunbury, to provide reports that identify training and development opportunities.
- Providing feedback to Management on opportunities to improve store processes.
- Facilitating coaching sessions with Team Members and Management to enhance operational knowledge and skills.
- Leading business changes and new initiatives, ensuring Team Members understand their responsibilities.
- Monitoring and driving performance to achieve key KPIs.
- Supporting store teams with operational tasks as required.

Qualifications

- Strong ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures quickly.
- General knowledge of retail products and the ability to quickly develop an understanding of the product range.
- Proficiency working with numbers, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Experience using retail or point-of-sale (POS) systems, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Willingness to travel to various locations within the region as required.
