Practice Information:
With a contemporary feel, this recently renovated practice is in the northern region of Townsville, offering General Practitioners an opportunity to provide services in the local Townsville community. This practice is one of a large group of medical practices which means you will be well supported allowing you to grow a successful practice with a diverse patient base. General Practitioners working in this facility are supported on-site by an experienced Practice Manager, along with a dedicated administrative and nursing team. There is a wide range of services offered such as chronic disease management, primary health care, preventative medicine, skin cancer medicine, iron infusions and many more.

Position Description:
The organisation is growing owner and operator of high-quality general practices across Australia. They passionately believe that primary care needs to be locally focused, and that is why the group of practices are locally managed, regionally connected, and centrally supported. The ethos is simple – to support GPs and enable them to provide the best standard of care in our communities.

After Hours Requirements: No

Qualifications and Experience:

1. General Practitioner - RACGP MBBS
2. Fellowed unrestricted VR GP (Non-DPA, MM2 Location) - OR Fellowed Restricted GP willing to do 6-month locum placement.

Annandale is one of the largest suburbs of Townsville and situated within a diverse residential and local business precinct. Close by is Lavarack Army Barracks, Townsville Hospital, James Cook University and Medical School. A pathology centre is located on-site to enable you with providing the best level of care for your patients with the pharmacy located next door. Accredited with AGPAL, Doctors at this clinic also specialise in travel and immunisation medicine, along with providing dedicated training for GP Registrars.
