Job Title: General Practitioners – Townsville, Queensland

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time (38 hours per week, 8 hour shifts)

Practice Information:
The practice will be part of a larger General Practice group, located in a busy shopping complex in Hyde Park. The clinic will have a combination of private billing and bulk billing for certain eligible patients.

Position Overview:
The practice is seeking dedicated General Practitioners to join their team in Townsville. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment focusing on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient consultations and provide medical care.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Provide preventive care and health education to patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or working towards it.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (required).
- Medical Indemnity Insurance.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in General Practice: 3 years (Preferred).
- Work Authorisation: Australia (Required).
- Work Location: In person.

Salary Information:
Percentage of billings.
