About the Role

As a Contractor Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring all contractors meet legal and organisational compliance obligations. You will oversee contractor onboarding, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor compliance with the Aged Care Act 2024, Aged Care Quality Standards, Code of Conduct for Aged Care, and relevant workplace safety legislation.

Your contributions will directly support our commitment to providing safe, high-quality care across all services.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage contractor onboarding and ensure accurate documentation (e.g., police checks, WWVP/NDIS clearances, relevant professional qualifications and memberships, vaccination records)
- Maintain contractor compliance records in our CMS and ensure audit readiness
- Conduct regular audits and follow up on expired/missing documentation
- Support in the preparation of compliance reports and internal reviews
- Draft and review contractor service agreements aligned with legislation
- Educate and support contractors and staff on compliance requirements
- Monitor contractor-related incidents and escalate non-compliance as needed
- Collaborate with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission when required

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Selection Criteria

Essential Skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work both independently and in a team
- Experience in administrative or compliance-focused roles

Specialist Knowledge

- Sound understanding of documentation handling and records management
- Experience preparing reports and compliance documentation

Desirable

- Qualifications in contract management (Cert IV or higher)
- Experience or knowledge in aged care, healthcare, or complex service delivery
- Understanding of the Aged Care Act 2024 and related standards
