We're looking for an adaptable, proactive Relief Manager to step into a high-impact role supporting retail stores across remote Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. This is a rare opportunity to lead with purpose, build community relationships, and grow your career, all while enjoying a fully supported lifestyle in remote Australia.
What You'll Do:
- Step in as Store Manager across multiple remote sites, covering leave and vacancies
- Be available to travel on short notice and support stores across varying locations
- Manage store operations including team leadership, inventory, merchandising, cost control, and community initiatives
- Coach and mentor Duty Managers and local staff to build capability and performance
- Oversee café/takeaway operations where applicable, ensuring food safety standards are met
- Ensure accurate financial management and compliance in-store
- Build meaningful relationships with community leaders and stakeholders

What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in customer-focused leadership roles
- Strong skills in retail systems, stock control, and team management
- A flexible, calm, and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to thrive in remote settings with a culturally respectful approach
- A valid driver's licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
Highly Regarded (But not essential):
- Remote retail or relief management experience
- First Aid, Food Safety, Forklift, or 4WD certifications
