As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you’ll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You’ll deepen the team’s understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you’ll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

About Goodstart Bundaberg George Street:

Our childcare centre boasts five well‑designed rooms and accommodates up to 75 children daily. The facility features a large natural playground, shaded by tall trees and supplemented with shade covers, providing a comfortable and safe outdoor environment. Additionally, a sweeping veranda area offers versatile space for various activities.

Our team is dedicated to creating nurturing and inviting play spaces, both indoors and outdoors, that promote children’s growth and development. We take pride in our long‑standing staff members who bring a wealth of qualifications and extensive experience to the centre. Our culturally diverse team enriches the learning environment, reflecting a variety of backgrounds and languages and strengthening the connection between home and the centre.

You’ll need:

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
