Your role as a Family Support Worker

As a Family Support Worker, you will provide support to families by helping them navigate challenges and access essential services. Your work will make a real difference in their lives and the broader community.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

- Provide practical and emotional support to families in need.
- Work collaboratively with children, parents, and caregivers to promote well-being.
- Connect families with appropriate services and community resources.
- Develop and implement tailored support plans.
- Maintain accurate records and report on client progress.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you’ll bring

Relevant Experience: Experience in case management, program delivery, development and evaluation.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs.

Compassionate Approach: A compassionate and client-centred approach.

Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in welfare or related fields or extensive experience working with families with complex needs.

Requirements: A valid driver’s licence and relevant clearances (or willingness to obtain).
