About the role

Estia Health Leopold is a well-regarded aged care home located in the peaceful suburb of Leopold, just 15 minutes from Geelong’s city centre. This single-level residence offers a warm, homely environment surrounded by landscaped gardens and is conveniently close to local shops, cafes, medical centres, and public transport. The home has a strong connection with the local community and offers a variety of activities and events to keep residents engaged.

Estia Health Leopold has exciting opportunities for experienced Personal Care Attendants (PCA's) to join our team on a Permanent Part Time basis, working a range of morning, afternoon and evening/night shifts.

Note: If shortlisted, you must be available for an interview on TUESDAY 7th OCTOBER.

Responsibilities

- Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed.
- Work with our team to support those with challenging needs.
- Help keep our residents’ bodies and minds active.
- Keep tabs on our residents’ health – helping with treatments.
- Be a friend to our residents.
- Make sure every resident’s privacy and dignity is respected.

Qualifications

- A certificate III or IV in Aged Care
- Experience as a Carer within a Residential Aged Care home
- Ability to work a variety of days and shifts
- A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
- Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
