Science Graduate - Pharmaceutical Compounding - Mount Waverley

Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA accredited manufacturing facilities based in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. That means we produce pharmaceutical products from chemotherapy drugs through to sterile antibiotic and patient nutrition products. We receive orders from hospitals which can be tailored to the specific needs of each individual patient, then our Production Technicians process and dispatch these orders to hospitals for use by patients all around the country.
Responsibilities
- Picking raw materials
- Decontamination of materials
- Printing labels and batch documents
- Compounding/mixing product in the cleanroom
- Checking, packing and labeling final product
- Ensuring completion of documentation
What we are looking for / Qualifications
Experience in a compounding role or within a cleanroom environment would be well regarded, as would candidates with a recent Science degree. Formal qualifications are not an essential requirement though, because our focus is for every Production Technician starting in the role to embrace the significant amount training provided; then work efficiently, accurately and with an appreciation for the importance of the quality of the product. Please note, this is a compounding/production role in a sterile manufacturing environment and does not involve any research, microbiology or product testing. We’d love to hear from you if you have an eye for details and meticulous record keeping skills. Slade Health is a hive of activity, so we strive to build a team of individuals with a proactive and enthusiastic working style and strong communication skills.
Prior to commencing employment with Slade Health, candidates will be required to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical which includes a supervised drug test.
