About the Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Reliability Engineer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Superintendent and work on an 8:6 roster.

Your focus will be on improving equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability by reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring and analysing critical equipment to optimise maintenance, recommend upgrades, and improve reliability.
- Identifying and prioritising repairs, upgrades, and technical actions to resolve reliability issues and address root causes of failures.
- Assisting with the design, planning, installation, and commissioning of new or modified plant equipment.
- Collaborating with planners and teams to improve maintenance processes, inspection schedules, and equipment effectiveness.
- Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, statutory maintenance, and company policies.
- Driving cost-effective maintenance, contributing to budgets, and identifying capital investment opportunities.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have strong reliability engineering experience, including expertise in fixed plant within mineral processing plants.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

- A tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of failure analysis and root cause analysis (RCA) methodology.
- Skills in vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems.
- Current C-class manual driver's licence.
