About Our Client:
A mission-driven not-for-profit organisation dedicated to environmental conservation and biodiversity in Australia. Seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to help drive financial health and growth within the organisation.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, monitor, and manage the organisation's annual budget.
2. Prepare financial forecasts to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.
3. Analyse operational costs to identify areas for financial efficiency and savings.
4. Track financial performance against the budget and provide explanations for any variances.
5. Prepare and present financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
6. Ensure compliance with not-for-profit financial regulations and donor reporting requirements.
The Successful Applicant:
About you:
1. Strong communication skills.
2. CPA or CA qualified.
3. Experience in financial analysis or management accounting.
4. Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and variance analysis.
5. Proficiency with financial software.
6. Passion for environmental sustainability and conservation.
