HearCanada serves 60% of the Canadian population experiencing a type of hearing health issue in 2021, and the team is dedicated to providing an exceptional client experience through the hearing journey, going above and beyond to provide relevant and meaningful solutions.

We are growing and searching for a Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Practitioner to join our team at our Richmond, Victoria, Sidney or Nanaimo, BC HearCANADA clinics. This is a permanent, full-time position with typical hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm local time.

Responsibilities

- Provide standardized hearing evaluations and high standard client care for existing and new clients.

- Make product recommendations and educate on product usage and features, followed by client follow-ups to ensure needs are met.

- Stay abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make meaningful client recommendations.

- Build relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care and post-care solutions.

- Collaborate with clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls.

Qualifications

- Graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program.

- Unrestricted ability to practice in the Audiology field and registration with the provincial governing body in good standing.

- Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience.

- Excellent communication skills to establish professional and individualized rapport with clients and team members.

- Comfortable making product and service recommendations and providing patient-centric education to ensure product adoption.

- Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) is an asset but not required.
