Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing the Warehousing and Distribution operations in Darwin, East Arm. Working closely with a small team, you will ensure daily duties are completed in a safe and efficient manner as well as establishing and maintaining key professional relationships with customers.

As the Warehouse Manager, your duties will include:
- Operational Leadership: Organise, monitor, and control warehouse operations, prioritising safety, service efficiency, and cost management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Warehouse Team to ensure consistent service delivery delivering on Northline’s promise of Customer Delight.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with warehouse customers, focusing on service improvement.
- Employee and Performance Management: Lead, coach, and develop employees, ensuring their goals align with Northline’s values and promoting a safe working environment.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy in order processing and compliance with safety standards.
- Supportive Culture: Foster collaborative relationships across all departments to achieve business-wide objectives.
As a successful candidate you will have:
- Previous leadership experience in a logistics, warehousing or inventory control environment (3PL preferred).
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety & Environment practices.
- Proven integrity, professionalism, and a customer-centric problem-solving approach.
- Current LF Forklift Licence required. LO is preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent communication, financial, and people management skills.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with previous experience in company-specific software and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Qualifications in Business Administration/Management or Warehousing, Transport & Supply Chain preferred.
