Wellbeing Carer: Where your passion for enriching lives meets endless possibilities

Join our vibrant team as a Wellbeing Carer at Bupa Windsor Care Home. Help residents thrive through engaging activities, companionship, and support.

Responsibilities

- Be the fun facilitator: help residents explore interests within the care home and beyond, from art classes and gardening to day trips and movie nights.

- Social butterfly: connect residents through activities and conversations to foster belonging.

- More than just activities: assist with daily living, provide emotional support, and support residents with cognitive impairment or mental health needs.

- Resident champion: gather feedback through surveys and family conferences to ensure activities meet residents’ needs.

- Team player: collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and escalate concerns.

- Hygiene and safety: follow infection control protocols and maintain a tidy environment.

- Catering support: assist with plating and serving meals, adhering to food safety standards and resident preferences.

What we’re looking for

- A heart of gold: passion for enriching lives is the most important qualification.

- Can-do spirit: flexible, adaptable, and ready for a challenge.

- Creative spark: ideas to make every day an adventure.

- Excellent communication: connect easily with residents and colleagues.

- Team player: collaborate effectively and support others with a positive attitude.

- Experience: previous care for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential.

- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

- Australian driver’s licence preferable.
