Able to bend and reach to access reading materials to stock Library Trolley

Able to walk without difficulty

Become familiar with Trolley route on both Levels

Able to respectfully converse with Patients & Visitors to ensure they are aware of what is available and provide what is required if possible

Satisfactorily stock & safely manoeuvre a trolley within the Hospital Wards & other areas.

Skills

- Good communication and listening skills.

- An ability to relate to a wide range of individuals.

- Reliable, with good time management.

- Ability to traverse the hospital.

We have shifts available Monday to Friday starting at 10am. Shift times can be flexible and shift length will be 2-3 hours. Minimum commitment of 1 shift per week on a fixed roster is required.

Please Note :-BARE BELOW THE ELBOWSAll staff (both clinical and non-clinical), students, volunteers and contractors havingcontact with the patient and/or the patient’s environment must be bare below theelbows, including the following:• Hand and wrist jewellery (including wrist watches and fitness bands) are not tobe worn in the clinical area, with the exception of a medical alert braceletand/or a single, plain, non-porous ring.• Long sleeved clothing is not recommended, but if worn needs to be rolled upabove the elbow so as not to interfere with hand hygiene practice.• Nails are to be short, clean and unvarnished.• Artificial nails are not to be worn
