Your new role

We are seeking individuals who possess an unwavering determination to create a meaningful impact – not only for our valued customers, but also within our close-knit team and across DBiz.

In this exciting role as a Business Central Functional Consultant, you will have to help our clients achieve their business goals through effective use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
- Work with clients to understand their business processes and requirements, and map them to Business Central functionalities.
- Conduct detailed business analysis sessions to gather client requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and design documents.
- Configure and customize Business Central to meet specific business needs.
- Ensure the system setup aligns with best practices and optimizes performance.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for end-users and administrators.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users to ensure effective use of the system.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements using Business Central capabilities.
- Implement workflow automation and other efficiency-enhancing features.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, customizations, and business processes.
- Develop user guides, training manuals, and technical documentation.
- Develop test plans and conduct thorough testing of the Business Central system to ensure it meets client requirements.
- Identify and resolve any issues or bugs during the testing phase.
- Assist with data migration strategies and execute data migration tasks to transition from legacy systems to Business Central.
- Ensure seamless integration with other business applications and systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates on project progress and milestones.
- Work with developers to design and implement customizations and enhancements to Business Central.
- Ensure custom solutions are scalable and maintainable.
- Ensure the system complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Implement security measures to protect business data and ensure data privacy.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve system functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT staff, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and coordination to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
