This roster is 7:7 roster (7days, 7 off, 7 nights) and a 12 hour day. Thursday to Wednesday swing.

About the Role

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of ore and waste rock within open-pit mining operations. You'll be operating large haul trucks to meet production targets while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures. With proven mining experience, you will contribute to a strong safety culture and actively support continuous improvement across the team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely operating haul trucks to move ore and waste in line with production requirements.
• Maximising equipment utilisation, ensuring correct haul placement, and using Minestar GPS effectively.
• Completing shift reports, logs, and documentation accurately.
• Identifying and reporting hazards, incidents, and environmental issues promptly.
• Sharing knowledge with less experienced operators and supporting team capability.

About You

You are an experienced haul truck operator with at least six months' open-pit mining or quarry production experience. You are safety-focused, adaptable, and work well in a team environment.

To be successful, you will have:

• A valid Australian motor vehicle licence (manual).
• Demonstrated haul truck operating experience in open-pit mining.
• Ability to work a panelled roster.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
