About the Role:

We're seeking a Locum General Practitioner for an ongoing assignment based in St Albans, Victoria.

In this role, you'll work Monday to Sunday between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, delivering quality primary healthcare within a correctional environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in a setting where your skills can truly improve access to essential healthcare.

You'll join a team providing medical services across Victoria's correctional facilities, supporting patients with a wide range of health needs in a structured, multidisciplinary environment.

Benefits:

- $140 per hour (inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading)

- Accommodation and travel assistance available as required

- Ongoing contract from now until 15 January 2026

About You:

- Relevant Tertiary qualification and current registration

- Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- A commitment to patient‑centred care and professional ethics

- Previous experience in correctional, community, or primary healthcare settings (advantageous)

- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian or New Zealand citizenship required
