Job Description
We are expanding our Speech Pathology team and are looking to welcome experienced and dynamic Speech Pathologists eager to be part of a multidisciplinary team and make a difference.
Successful candidates will provide support to NDIS participants living in areas such as Canberra, Queanbeyan, Tuggeranong, Gunning, Yass, Gundaroo, Belconnen, Jerrabombera, and surrounding areas, depending on your location.
Our team assists individuals of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals. No two days will look the same We aim to provide a caseload that matches your experience and interests. Our caseloads include early intervention (infants 0-12 months), feeding, early language, parent coaching, paediatrics, adolescents, adults, dysphagia, communication difficulties, and AAC. We are committed to supporting your career development through clinical and operational pathways.
You might find us in childcare centres, schools, homes, or outreach locations (as part of our AAA Adventurer Program). Our team comprises various experience levels and enjoys activities like coffee breaks, sharing memes, and participating in monthly meetings, well-being check-ins, and clinical upskilling sessions.
We work closely with the MDT and often share lunch and celebrate our successes. Whether you prefer team outings or prioritize family and home life, there is a place for everyone
Your role will include:
- Managing an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and delivering timely therapeutic services
- Supporting early years (0-5) with early intervention and parent coaching (including speech sounds, early language, feeding, school readiness)
- Working with school-aged children (5-18) on literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding, and AAC assessment and implementation
- Supporting adults with functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia, and mealtime management, as well as neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, and acquired brain injury rehabilitation
- Providing neuro-affirming supports to our neurodivergent population of all ages

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist
- A passion for collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- A desire to make a meaningful community impact
