Data Centre Electrical Engineer - Senior/Associate
Salary Guide: $140k - $180k + super + profit share
Location: Melbourne OR Sydney
Overview
Mission Critical Recruitment are seeking a first class electrical engineer with strong experience in producing world class electrical designs for data centres.
Upon joining, you will go straight in as electrical lead on a new greenfield project award, which is a hyperscale data centre which will soon be coming out of the ground.
On an ongoing basis, you will be joining a dedicated data centre team who are in growth mode (headcount forecast to increase by over 50% in the next 12 months) - you/'ll be a fundamental part of that growth and will help build client relationships and form part of the strategic direction of the data centre business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for new-build and upgrade data centre projects
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a growing team of engineers
- Engage with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects to the highest standards
- Drive innovation and energy-efficient solutions in mission critical environments
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Strong experience in data centre electrical design
- Working towards Chartership will be nice to have
- Proven leadership ability and ambition to help to build and lead a specialist team
- Deep understanding of standards and best practices in electrical building services
