Our client is seeking an experienced full-time Business Analyst to join their team located om Surry Hills, New South Wales.
Tasks required include:
1. Launch product to the initial market & further markets, including third-party lead integrations, facilitate marketing campaigns, set up credit policy & assessment process, set up customer service, design & set up collections process
2. Manage the product backlog by prioritising features, enhancements, bugs relating to the product; work with the business to make decisions based on Customer needs & experience (UX) & business drivers & objectives, and technical feasibility and development
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for systems and processes.
4. Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, and clear documentation.
5. Perform data analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
6. Work closely with the product, engineering and risk teams to prioritise and refine the product backlog.
7. Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the success of initiatives.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology or computing field
2. Experience: 3+ years in a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, or related role, ideally in fintech, startups, or fast-paced industries.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agile tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.) and data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker studio, Tableau, Power BI). Basic understanding of SQL is a plus.
4. Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to break down complex problems and deliver actionable solutions.
5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Adaptability: Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities
7. Hustle: A proactive, go-getter attitude with a focus on delivering results quickly and effectively.
