Overview

This newly created Finance Manager position represents a key role within the business. You will play an important role in shaping the strategic direction whilst being hands on in managing day-to-day operations. Our client is a privately owned, proudly Australian-owned women's fashion brand with over 30 retail stores across. You'll be joining a close-knit and supportive finance team in a workplace known for its stability and collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of the finance function including managing a small team
- Oversee and prepare end-of-month and end-of-year financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Execute financial and management accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide strategic financial advice and insights to the team to support informed decision-making
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and balance sheet integrity.
- Maintain and improve financial systems and processes

You will bring

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/CPA qualification preferred).
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
- Demonstrated success leading small teams in a hands on manner and managing both financial and management accounting responsibilities.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to think commercially and strategically.
- A collaborative, hands-on approach with a genuine interest in adding value.
