The Role

HSE Advisor required to start in the new year. Our client is happy to commit to the right person now and has the enviable benefit of time on their side to ensure the right fit for all.

The role will form a key part of the delivery team for a 3 stage retirement living apartment project in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. The first stage is circa 60 apartments across 2 building with a build value of around $40m. There will be two other stages of similar size and scope to roll on to.

This role will manage all Safety outcomes on the project. Inductions, SWMS reviews, monitoring high risk activities, consistent presence on site and a consultative, collaborative approach to ensuring all trades fulfill their safety obligations. You will have the support of an excellent Site Manager and team of supervisors.

About You

Ideally ou will be trade Qualified with a minimum Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety. The ideal candidate will also hold relevant tickets for metropolitan building. You will have at least 5 years’ experience in a tier 1 or tier 2 principal building contractor or developer builder here in QLD. Mining, civil, infrastructure or resources experience will not be considered.

You will have high expectations and the emotional intelligence to inspire individuals and teams to meet the standards set by the team.

You will be a motivated team player that can demonstrate strong tenure in the market and be supported by relevant and recent references.
